A workshop where we make signs that hang around people's necks with a simple set of patching "objects". The signs could be written on A4 wirebound pads hanging around people's necks. Then we could go to a different page to write new instructions or use the pads as some kind of stack :)

The objects could be like (please add to this list or subtract if necessary):

[edit] Control Objects

  • metro
  • select
  • counter (a simple version that just counts up by 1's, it'd be silly to have 5 inlets...)
  • trigger
  • add
  • subtract
  • multiply

[edit] Audio Objects

The person makes a sound of some sort

  • sing (sing a note)
  • sound (make a sound)
  • clap (clap your hands)
  • drum (beat a drum)
  •  ?

[edit] Drawing Objects

Think of the person(s) as the "pen"

  • circle (slowly draw a circle by moving the "pen" in a circle)
  • rotate (spin the "pen")
  • square (requires 4 "pens")
  • nurbs (this could be fun, 4 or more people under a sheet making a 3D surface)
