put your name down if you want to come on the camp, together with what you want to do. You will also have to [buy a ticket]!

  • alex - i'd love to learn how to control a motor with an arduino. also more solar powered robots would be great
  • Rob - no camping for me, as I only live about 5 miles from the place, but I'd like to play with arduinos too.. I can bring along an old robot wars robot with a pneumatic flipper (I'd never get it to dorkbot normally on the DLR) and we could try and think of new uses, eg pie hurling?.. or link it to the arduino and set it free...
  • Robert_A +1 - hey Alexs idea of acoustic instrument making , I can help with that ! Cn bring the games again too..
    • I'll bring Khet too (alex m)
  • Greenman - Burn Stuff!!!!
  • Bryan - Count me in! Not sure if I have the energy for a balloon this year, though I'm terribly tempted to actually make one work!
------ eeh, just toss the tissue paper straight in the fire :-) (r.a.)

  • Ian - We'll bring some wireless kit and see if we can get an access point in the site office - this should make the wireless much more reliable than it was last time round. The jam sessions last year were great, so would be good to have some more of that. I'd love to learn how to control stuff with Arduino's, ideally something like a trainset.
  • Izzy - learn something new, play with fire, be helpful and have lots of dorky fun
  • Alex Z. - thinking about what to do. Might run an Arduino workshop and build a structure.
  • steve a - not look at a computer, even though it's in my bag
  • Tallpaul - will be doing more cooking
  • Lena
  • Sim - bake a cake with chickpea flour! oh and taxidermy moles or other rodents. YAY!
  • Carmen, Doma, Natascha & Adnan - we could come straight from jamaica for sat/sun & bring some rum & maybe do a pirate tv session
  • Sophie - cooking and cleaning, play with fire and electricity and learn more Processing and Pd and network some trees and ballroom dancing and drink rum.
  • Ben, Polly, Theo and Yola - wonder if we could manage to make Arduino driven Braitenberg vehicles? And does anyone know anything about astronomy? (I don't)
  • Annie, Carl, Caspar and Sarah - Carl would like to try and make a wind turbine to generate some leccy. Annie will be trying to leave the fire alone long enough to do some workshops.

- Bryan would defo help with the turbine. I'll bring tools and anything I can find lying around. Some cool motors in the bin last week but didn't have a good enough reason to rescue them. Damn.

  • Katiushka (aka) Mamasonga and Geoff (aka) Papachongo with new things like LOVE THERMOTEST and more LUV-LY things and free love coaching sesions and new performance
  • Anna and Luchi, not sure if we'll camp the whole time, we are new to Dorkbot, we can bring Luchi's brainwave analyser and I'm sure I have something fairly strange and electrical.
  • Iain Sharp - thought I might run a "Micro Scrapheap Challenge". Bring a load of old electronic junk and challenge people to build something useful/interesting out of them. Not sure whether to have an official team activity or just individual attempts. Also not sure whether to have a specific objective or just define the challenge as to achieve the "most interesting" result. Thoughts anyone?
  • Julie
  • Dominic, travel down from the grim north east to introduce myself and ptechnic.org + i have about 20 amiga 600's that are just waiting to become a tracker orchestra..
  • xname - hello world i am moving to London, i will bring my Arduino!
  • Yoshi--as before, I'll take care of fire and cook infomous Miso soup. And may be walking the field and look for edible plant, Blue Berry, Mushroom? etc. I may design the God Dork to move and dance his hands and ass? M M M Micro Scrapheap? Interesting, but as always, crucial component is not there when we need. (bring what we would need before hand----or is it spoil the fun? )
  • Alex A - I'm new to this but keen to learn and burn. Would like to rebuild my Yakult lanters and learn some audio hacks. I can help with Arduino, AVR, a bit of MIDI and can bring electronics stuff and, er, Fimo. Can also give a lift from Oxford way.
