2 large jars of large pickled dill cucumbers. Must be in brine. Do not get premium brands - get the cheapest possible, more than 2 if they're insanely cheap (Aldi ?), these are not for eating. Other brine-pickled vegetables may be worth considering but start with dill.
We're going via Asda, who only seem to have gherkins in vinegar Yaxu 19:05, 15 August 2011 (BST)
Pickles in vinegar sound much superior, but I've read that it's the sodium in the brine that makes them glow, and the one I tested was in brine. This might not be correct. I will try to test, but will also aim to bring suitable pickles anyway. --Adrian 20:38, 15 August 2011 (BST)
